PAR Announces Erin Pressley of NRECA as the Recipient of the 2024 PAR GOAT Award
Towson, MD, January 15, 2025 – The Professionals for Association Revenue (PAR) is proud to announce Erin Pressley, CAE, SVP Education, Training and Events for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), as the recipient of the 2024 PAR GOAT (Greatest of All Twenty-Twenty-Four) Award. The PAR GOAT Award honors individuals who have made a significant impact in advancing association business in the past year, and who have shared their thought leadership as PAR workshop presenters, board members, industry advocates and pioneers dedicated to aligning association mission and business.
“I approached Erin in 2019 about the need for a community focused on association business, and she immediately offered her time, insights and unwavering support to help build PAR,” said Sean Soth, PAR Leadership Advisory Board Chair. “Erin consistently shares her deep expertise in association business leadership and provides practical, actionable solutions that help organizations build a strong foundation for business success.”
In 2024, Pressley played a key role in PAR’s initiatives, serving as a panelist for the first-ever PopUP event in partnership with Yes& on the topic “New KPIs for Association Business,” as well as participating in the RevUP Summit’s mainstage presentation, “What Must Be True: Valuing Association Business.” In addition, she marked five years of service on the PAR Leadership Advisory Board and will begin 2025 as a LAB Emeritus Member.
“PAR is a tremendous community of folks who are just like me and interested in building revenue for their associations,” Pressley shared. “In many associations, profitability can be taboo, and this community gives me insights and ideas for ways that we can start talking about revenue in a more comprehensive way.”
In 2024, PAR showcased the expertise of over 50 thought leaders through virtual workshops, member meet-ups, podcasts, articles and presentations at the annual RevUP Summit.
Pressley joins Nikole TenBrink (2021, ARF), Colleen McKenna (2022, Intero Advisory) and Michelle Brien (2023, Matchbox) as the recipient of this annual award.
Congratulations to all of the 2024 PAR Contributors and GOAT Award Finalists:
Amy Lestition Burke (SWANA), Dan Cole (AVIXA), Robb Lee (Yes& Agency), Lewis Flax (Flax Associates).
