Turning Challenge into Opportunity: PAR Members Look to the Possibilities of the Future
“Wouldn’t it be great if…?” That’s the question PAR webcast presenter and Unmuted CEO Rachel Druckenmiller presented to our PAR audience in her webcast, 2020 Vision: How to Reframe and Refocus Current Frustrations into Future Success. In a time of forced change and adaptation, Rachel challenged our PAR members to think about the possibilities of a future without the constraints of the present. Below are some of their answers:
  • Did a fireside chat hybrid? We plan to bring a fireside chat sponsorship opportunity to our hybrid event, presenting the in-person chat on the show hosted in front of an airstream camper and live streamed to our virtual audience.
  • Improved our membership sales cycle? If all of our chapters could work on the same page of our membership recruitment process, we would be better off.

Partner Programs

Many associations have had success with an enterprise approach to marketing and industry partnership. The opportunity for non-dues revenue and alignment can grow by matching solution providers to a program that helps them reach corporate objectives for visibility, thought leadership, and client engagement.
Does your association provide a partner program that includes a multi-channel approach to marketing, events and subject matter expertise?

Revenue Renegades: Top Takeaways From How to Prioritize the Right Customizations for Your Partner Programs
Last Wednesday, revenue producers from the association industry came together to chat about how to prioritize customizations for business partnership programs. Tweaking partner programs can be time consuming and leave your processes in the dust, which is why staying on the right path with customizations matters when considering your business development efforts. PAR members worked through programs that are (or aren’t) working, and what they will look like moving into 2022. PAR members read article here or start your 30-day PAR trial today.
PARtners @ Work: Webvent
We think PAR’s association partners do some pretty great work! In our “PARtners at Work” series, we highlight the important ways they are helping our association communities. This week, we’re profiling Webvent, a webcast management and production company that is bringing association communities together in meaningful ways.
The importance of connecting members while also increasing, or at least maintaining, nondues revenue is at an all-time high for associations. The postponement or elimination of live events has resulted in a tangible loss of revenue for many of our organizations — three out of five associations say they expect nondues revenue to decline post-COVID-19.

But not all association programs and products are declining. Sponsored webcasts are one way to continue to increase nondues revenue, while providing valuable member benefits. Read the article.
