Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) Clinches Prestigious Pierre Partnership Award for Innovative Clinical Trials Day Strategy

Towson, MD, December 11, 2023 – The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) has been honored with the esteemed 2023 Pierre PARtnership Award in recognition of its efforts in reshaping the landscape of Clinical Trials Day celebrations. Hosted by Professionals for Association Revenue (PAR), the Pierre PARtnership Award recognizes the power of associations to enact impactful change within an industry through advancements in association business.

In 2023, ACRP took a bold step to revolutionize its approach to Clinical Trials Day, forging strategic collaborations with corporate partners to elevate the event and honor the invaluable contributions of the clinical research workforce. The theme "Together We Can" served as a unifying force, resonating across ACRP events and social platforms, testimonial videos, and personalized selfie sign messages.

The results were nothing short of remarkable, as ACRP saw an extraordinary 476% surge in video views and 200% increase in sponsorships, showcasing the industry's overwhelming response to their innovative approach. This transformative strategy not only engaged the clinical research community but also captured the attention and support of corporate sponsors, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose.

“We are immensely proud to congratulate ACRP on receiving the Pierre PARtnership Award,” said Sean Soth, Founder and Chairman, PAR, and SVP, Strategy & Global Partnerships, SCRS. “Their innovative approach to reshaping Clinical Trials Day aligns perfectly with the spirit of impact and excellence that the award represents. ACRP's dedication to celebrating and uniting the clinical research community and the industry partners that serve them reflects the values we hold at PAR.”

Three finalist organizations shared their stories of success with the PAR community during the RevUP Summit (December 6-7, 2023) in Annapolis, MD. The two other organizations honored as 2023 Pierre PARtnership Award Finalists include:

American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT): ASTCT partnered with the GVHD (Graft vs Host Disease) Alliance as the only professional association in the Alliance, which is primarily patient-centered. This allowed ASTCT to expand its brand recognition to the patients treated by its members and to the caregivers that support those patients. This partnership allowed ASTCT to gain financial support for education and awareness programs among other initiatives. School Nutrition Association (SNA): To ensure the continued viability of the association and enhance its member experience, SNA recognized the need to shift its focus to digital. Expanding its digital portfolio became a priority that involved not only creating new digital products but also revamping existing ones to align them with the SNA brand. SNA is projecting a $50,000 increase in digital ad revenue through social media sponsorships and sponsored recipes with its strategic digital approach.
