Katie Riggs, CMP, CAE, CMM, HMCC, CED
Riggs & Co, Chief Event Strategist

Associations saw a seismic shift in membership needs over the last several years, but our meetings and events have not always kept pace with these changes. Taking the time to strategically look at your associations meetings and events is integral to your overall association health. Now more than ever it is imperative that our associations don’t fall back on history and habit.

During this fast paced session, Emilie and Katie will share a strategic methodology that can guide your association to think differently about your meeting stakeholders. Real world examples as well as practical tools will be shared with attendees.

At the completion of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Analyze your event stakeholders and discuss the value of applying empathy in design
  • Articulate the unique purpose and value of your event for each stakeholder
  • Understand the scalability of the Event Design Process and how to apply the methodology to your own events.
